Brother Knight Vic Castela Honored With a Special Award

A Knight Honoured Kitchener Knights of Columbus long-time member Vic Castela, was honored by the Canadian Tooling and Machining Association (CTMA) with the “Trades Ambassador of the Year Award” on Nov 25th, 2021.

An exceptional teacher from St. Benedict Catholic Separate School in Cambridge and member of K of C Council 1504, Victor made a positive impact on his student’s lives through his deep commitment for the manufacturing trades as a Christ centered teacher.  Victor has demonstrated outstanding leadership and guidance by offering learning opportunities, educating his students in trade skills to help prepare them for careers which includes the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program.  The CTMA, established in 1963, represents the “Tooling Industry” in Canada promoting the interests of the Canadian tooling and precision metalworking industries.
