Every festive season a Christmas dinner is provided by The Ray of Hope Community Centre offering a place of safety and support to people struggling with poverty and homelessness. With the help of dedicated staff, volunteers, and community partners, Kitchener’s Ray of Hope works to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of disadvantaged people in Waterloo Region.
The Kitchener Knights of Columbus supported event with a $500 dollar donation. Accepting a cheque from Grand Knight Mike Szabo is Tonya Verburg, Chief Executive Officer for the Ray of Hope.
