Playground Contribution - Spring 2025

PGK, Owen Hennessey presents a donation to Acting Principal, Caroline Sottile toward construction of the Blessed Sacrament School playground

The Spring 2025 opening for Blessed Sacrament School's playground, in Kitchener's Country Hills area, was timely for the presentation of a charitable donation from Kitchener Knights of Columbus in support of the school's efforts for their portion of costs of construction.

A collaborative effort between the Ministry of Education, WRCSB and the School's fund raising efforts contributed to the (over) $100,000 cost of construction. As a community program, Kitchener's Knights reached out to assist with the School's portion, serving 100s of wieners to supportive student families and providing a supply the K of C branded maple syrup for additional fund raising.
